4. Who would be the audience for your media products?
Our target audience and viewers would have similar interest with Bukola, hence the reasons I chose her. Also she enjoys watching horror and thriller genre’s meaning she is familiar with the codes and conventions of these genres, therefore our production will seemingly grab her interest. Bukola likewise represents the E class of the social groups; therefore our sequence must represent these social groups, who are mainly students. Also as she listens to fast catchy music, our score music could be an area of interest for her.
In additional we also took into account the male gaze theory, where the Male antagonists appearance looks rough with his full beard, and his casual dress sense, we deliberately included this to attract the female gaze, as it were, that somewhat defies convention of having an attractive male character, and therefore increasing the target audience to a more female reach as well as the male.
